Golden mashed potato balls with a molten cheese centre and a luxurious truffle aroma. A light spray of Spritz Truffle gives them that gourmet finish without deep-frying.
40 min · Serves 4
Ingredients
- Spritz Truffle cooking spray
- 500 g potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 100 g mozzarella, cut into small cubes
- 1 egg
- 60 g flour
- 80 g breadcrumbs
- 30 g grated parmesan
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Method
- Mix the mashed potatoes with the parmesan, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Take a spoonful of mash, press a cube of mozzarella into the centre, and roll into a ball, sealing the cheese inside.
- Roll each ball in flour, dip in the beaten egg, then coat well in breadcrumbs.
- Place the balls in the air-fryer basket and give them one even spray of Spritz Truffle.
- Cook at 190 C for 12 to 15 minutes, turning halfway and giving a second light spray of Spritz Truffle for an even golden crust.
- Let them rest 2 minutes so the cheese sets slightly, then serve warm.
Cooked lighter with Spritz Truffle - one fine spray instead of pouring oil.
